BIO

Emma Irwin is a self-taught painter whose work is defined by bold, abstract geometric compositions rooted in a love for color theory and the mathematical precision of geometry. Emma studied at the University of Minnesota College of Design, where she honed her understanding of form and structure, which now serves as the foundation for her art practice.

Primarily working with acrylics, Emma explores the relationships between shapes and colors, creating visual experiences that evoke emotion and invite personal interpretation. Her work has gained regional recognition throughout the Ozarks, where she continues to build her presence in the local art scene. Emma's upcoming exhibition with the Women of the Ozarks will run for the remainder of the year, showcasing her latest explorations in abstract geometry.
